James Horner
James Horner was born on August 14, 1953 and died on June 22, 2015. Although he died in an airplane crash, James lived a great life. He grew up in Los Angeles, California. James won both Academy Awards and Golden Globes for his films, and has become a very high-profile composer. His first major film score was The Lady in Red in 1979. If you asked him, James would say that his job was as a conductor, composer, and orchestrator. James loved orchestral music, but had even more of a love for Celtic music.
